Timothy Bartlett, ASLA, has demonstrated a tireless dedication to the profession, volunteerism, and involvement with organizations targeting responsible use of our natural resources, exemplifying one of our most cherished goals as a profession - stewardship of the land.
Timothy Bartlett, Superintendent of Planning and Operations, has served with the Urbana Park District since 1992. He is a dual graduate of the University of Illinois, Department of Landscape Architecture program (BLA 1989, MLA 1992). He currently serves the Department of Landscape Architecture as an instructor for Site Design and Community Design studios. Mr. Bartlett serves on the Board of Directors for the Champaign County Design and Conservation Foundation, and is the Chair of the Urbana-Danville Trail Committee.
Mr. Bartlett also serves on the Illinois Park and Recreation Association Foundation board, Illinois Park and Recreation Association's College and University Relations Committee, Illinois Trails Conservancy Board of Directors, Illinois Greenways and Trails Council, Champaign County Greenways, and Trails Technical Committee. He is a long-term member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, American Planning Association, and International Society of Arboriculture.
