Field Sessions will register at 8:00 am at Venue One. The bus will leave at 8:30 am. Latecomers will be given instructions for meeting the group.
The morning will kick off with site tours to Ping Tom Memorial Park by site; Grant Park Skate Plaza by Altamanu, Maggie Daley Park, and the newest additions to the River Walk. (3 CEs)
We will then have an education session back at the venue:
Designing Trees into the Urban Landscape and Integrating LID Stormwater Management (2 CEs)
Jeremy Bailey, a senior consultant from GreenBlue Urban will be speaking on sustainable development, green infrastructure, urban tree planting and storm water management and the values of incorporating these types of systems and designs into the urban landscape, backed by many solutions that are being utilized globally.
