Understanding Irrigation – Professional Skills Workshop

Some Landscape Architects struggle with irrigation. They don’t touch it enough to really understand it yet they are often confronted with the specification, review, and approval of it on many of their projects. An irrigated acre of landscape can use nearly 1 million gallons of water per year and more than twice that if not properly designed, installed and operated!

This 8 hour class is designed especially for Landscape Architects and Civil Engineers and covers all of the principles and practices needed to understand how irrigation components work and how they work together to make a complete system. This class also provides information on proper pipe sizing, the creation of hydro zones and other concepts that a specifier needs to design and/or review an irrigation plan.

8.0 HSW Credits - LA CES Pending
