Project Details
At Generation Park, a 4,340-acre mixed-use business district in northeast Houston, Indigo Ecological Design reimagined a green framework that shapes the development around a living ecological system. The plan integrates stormwater infrastructure, native prairie restoration, and shaded pedestrian networks to create multifunctional landscapes that manage water, support biodiversity, and connect people to nature. Over 94 acres have been seeded with native species, and the first phase of green infrastructure stores over 223 million gallons of stormwater. This scalable, climate-resilient model sets a new precedent for sustainable development in the Gulf Coast region.
