Project Details

The Harlem Avenue Visioning Study sets forth a bold, forward-looking vision to revitalize the Harlem Avenue corridor in Chicago. Its goals include enhancing the public realm, fostering a distinct corridor identity, supporting small businesses, and establishing a practical framework for long-term implementation. Developed through close collaboration with engaged stakeholders and a comprehensive assessment of existing conditions, the study is anchored by three guiding principles: Public Realm Improvements, Corridor Identity, and Community Gathering. This Visioning Study represents a pivotal first step toward meaningful, community-driven transformation—and a strong foundation for the future of Harlem Avenue. Completed 2024.
