ILASLA Field Session: Native Plant ID on the Prairie

Join ILASLA and Luke Dahlberg to learn about native plants on the Illinois prairie. Brush up on your plant identification skills, learn about natives underutilized in design, and management techniques of natural areas. We’ll begin with an engaging talk near the farmhouse, followed by a guided walk through Flint Creek Savanna and Prairie. Come ready to learn, explore, and connect with the land!

Then turn left onto East Savannah Trail and continue to the end and park in the cul-de-sac. Make sure not to block the fire lane which is the mowed path between the cul-de-sac and CFC.
