LARE REVIEW – A Virtual Dive Session – Section 4
February 26, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
LARE Candidates are invited to participate in a three-track prep session virtually hosted by the Illinois ASLA Chapter.
Sections 1 & 2 are a combined two-hour discussion format in the morning. Sections 3 & 4 are individually offered as a two and a half hour and four-hour discussion. At the end of all sections, there will be open small group discussions and Q&A.
The session format enables candidates to assess their own strengths and weaknesses, to preview problem styles, experience drilling, discover success factors as well as hear an overview of exam content to enhance overall exam performance. All sessions feature slides, videos, discussion, individual questions, and supplemental handouts plus customized post-session follow-up emails.
Separate Section 3 & 4 sessions are proven, affordable formats featuring relevant materials and directed problem drilling. The proven course format addresses the full spectrum of experience and learning styles providing success to many previous candidates.
Instruction is provided by former ILASLA Education committee chair, Kenon Boehm, ASLA. Boehm is an active professional who prepared past sessions and passed the exams with one attempt during 2014 and 2015. He brings in current exam tips and relevant information to help candidates succeed along with his collaboration and assistance instructing with other past LARE experts, including Matt Mathes. His background within varying design and construction roles in the industry lead to a multifaceted approach to LARE prep.
