Webinar: The Language of Stone

Join ILASLA and Daniel Wood, Affiliate ASLA, to learn everything that you need to know to ensure a successful natural stone project. Daniel will join us to discuss items to consider regarding the conceptual and design process; assessment of site and materials; pricing and estimating information needs; logistics and installation requirements; and project completion and follow-up.
Daniel Wood is a natural stone and design consultant at Lurvey Supply. He is responsible for partnering with Architects, Designers, Contractors, Builders, and other members of the design community to provide information and creative solutions for projects, and to assist with the specification of natural stone and other materials.
He served on the Building Stone Institute and the Natural Stone Institutes board for nine years and is a 2017 Past President of the Association. In addition, he sat on the chain of custody committee for the development of its portion of the NSC 373 Stone Certification standard. Other credentials include; assisting the Natural Stone Institute in 2016 and 2017 at the Marmomacc Stone Fair in Verona, Italy, participating in panels/classes at the 2018 Coverings show and the 2017 and 2018 World Stone Congress in Xiamen Stone Fair, and working with the Natural Stone Institute’s 2018 fall study tour to Italy and the Marmomacc Stone Fair.
Daniel has earned LEED GA certification and is also a member of USGBC, AIA, ASLA, MCAA, ILCA, and the Institute of Classical Architecture.
