Javier is a designer at MKSK and strives to create designs that promote healthy living, ecological
resilience, and social interaction.
He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urban Champaign and Columbia University. Through
his years in education and practice, Javier has become an advocate for excellence in community
and stakeholder engagement. With his experience in Chicago and New York, Javier brings particular
interest in addressing social and environmental justice through design and hopes to contribute to a
more vibrant, equitable, and sustainable future for all.
