President
Kenon Boehm is the design department leader at Craig Bergmann Landscape Design. He earned his
Master of Landscape Architecture at Texas A&M prior to his journey North to the Chicagoland area. His
work has always brought a strong connection of design both in the office and in the field as he
constantly looks for innovative solutions to challenging conditions. Past volunteer efforts as Education
Chair within the chapter has led him to better understand the needs of the chapter as well as the
volunteers that keep it functioning. These efforts also included presenting for LARE prep sessions;
leading to continued additions of licensed landscape architects within the state. In addition to
furthering the goals of past presidents, Kenon looks to continue in strengthening our profession through
the cultivation of more fully licensed Landscape Architects and creating a broader understanding of our field at primary, intermediate, and secondary schooling levels.
