Member At Large

Rashad is a project manager and Landscape Designer at Living Habitats, with a
Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and
several years of professional design experience. Her work across the Midwest includes
brownfield waterfront redevelopment, industrial park and campus master planning, large
parks, school landscapes, and urban design, all of which emphasize collaboration,
engagement, and thorough technical documentation. As a designer, Rashad strives to
create spaces that are diverse, inclusive, and rooted in the unique needs and desires of
each community. Her design approach reflects a deep commitment to fostering
environments that uplift and inspire their users.
Outside of work, Rashad enjoys exploring Chicago by riding her bike, taking long walks,
or seeking out the city’s many delicious restaurants and hidden culinary gems.
