Sarah White joined ASLA in 2004 and started her role as President Elect of ASLA Illinois in 2021. Sarah currently serves as Campus Planner at Northwestern University. Prior to her role at Northwestern, Sarah served as Lakefront Planning Coordinator for the Chicago Park District and in planning and design roles at various firms in Chicago. Sarah is a proud alumnus of University of Wisconsin – Madison, where she earned a degree in landscape architecture. She also attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where she obtained a Master’s in Urban Planning and Policy. Sarah lives in Chicago with her super-husband Wes and her super-son Benjamin.
