Currently, I am a landscape architect at Resource Environmental Solutions (RES – formerly Applied Ecological Services), and as the name suggests, ecological restoration and native landscapes are some of my passions. A lot of my work focuses on conservation development planning and design, stream restoration, and park design. I received my BLA from Michigan State University and a MS in Natural Resources and Environmental Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I worked downtown Chicago for five years before moving to the NW suburbs to pursue an ecologically focused career, experiment with plants and design on my own property, and create a little homestead with my landscape architect husband.
