Missy Ruminski joined Berliner Seilfabrik Play Equipment Corporation in 2023 as the dedicated Illinois Sales Manager. Bringing over fifteen years of experience in a wide variety of A/E/C sectors and operations, Missy was very excited to make the journey back to Chicago in 2021 after living and working in Detroit for 4 years. Before joining ALSA in 2023, Missy was an active member of multiple professional organizations, including Affiliate member of AIA Chicago and the Chicago Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), where she received multiple commendations for her role on the membership committee. Additionally, she sat as co-chair for the Metal Construction Association (MCA), where her team planned the organization’s two membership-wide annual meetings. In Detroit, she was co-chair of the AIA Detroit Affiliate Committee and volunteered with City Year Detroit helping with classroom buildouts. Missy previously held LEED Green Associate certification for 4 years and is currently studying for herCPSI.
In her spare time, you’ll find Missy at her home in Uptown with her cats Desi + Lucy, and dog Luna. Educated in hospitality and culinary arts, Missy likes to entertain and cook.
