Project Details

Originally designed by architect David Adler in 1917 for A. Watson and Elsa Armour, the Gardens at 900 are a sensitive renovation & re-interpretation of the original entry buildings & gardens. Functioning as a private residence & home to Craig Bergmann Landscape Design, Inc., the use of buildings & garden areas respects the history of the site, while fostering creativity. Formal borders, shade garden, orchard, new swimming pool garden, & motor court constitute the garden today. A relatively young garden, The Gardens at 900 are an excellent example of how quickly a landscape can be transformed with the strategic placement of plant material & a focused, collaborative vision.
