Project Details
POPGrove, the first completed plaza under the POP Program, is situated on bustling Madison Avenue and provides a tranquil haven for West Garfield Park residents. The park was designed to cater to all age groups and offer a variety of spaces for multiple programs, divided into three zones: the “Front Porch,” “Living Room,” and “Backyard.” The project team carefully incorporated indigenous and pollinator-friendly vegetation, permeable materials, and an optimized tree canopy to create an oasis that promotes biodiversity and offers much-needed greenspace in the neighborhood.
