Project Details

The Pullman National Historical Park is an architectural treasure of Chicago’s South Side. Building off of the 2015 Positioning Pullman vision, the Pullman National Historical Park Visitor Center and Grounds rehabilitated the historic and iconic Pullman Administrative Building and Factory Grounds into a vibrant new public space. The site design features an interpretative landscape within the Front Lawn, an interpretive corridor in the historic rail Transfer Pit, where hardscape and planting palettes are designed around archaeological relics, and The Park, a flexible event and gathering space built around the historic footprint of the rear erecting shops.
