Project Details

Adopted in 2022, the Western Avenue Corridor Study is a community-based planning initiative to envision an equitable, long-term future for a five-mile section of North Western Avenue, from Addison Street to Howard Street in Chicago. The Study was developed through a robust community-led process to guide development, transportation, mobility, and public realm improvements along the corridor, with the goal of supporting a thriving, safe, and resilient Western Avenue that meets a range of community needs.
