Speaker Bio
Daniel Wood, ASLA, is a natural stone and design consultant at Lurvey Supply. He is responsible for partnering with contractors, builders, and members of the design community, to provide them with information and creative solutions for their projects and to assist with the specification of natural stone and other materials.
Daniel is a Past President of the Natural Stone Institute. In addition, he is the current NSI Educational Committee chairperson and sits on the: CEU, Sustainability, and the revision of NSC 373 Stone Certification standard committees. Moreover, he has served as a mentor for the Natural Stone Institutes Women in Stone Mentoring program since its inception. He holds a LEED GA certification and is also a member of USGBC, AIA, ASLA, MCAA, ICAA, ILCA, and other organizations. Lastly, Daniel speaks on a regular basis to many companies and organizations about natural stone domestically and internationally.
